Every year, Members of Congress and their Staff compete in the Congressional Pumpkin Carving Contest. This event is a great opportunity for Representatives and Senators to come together and support efforts to develop new treatments for pediatric brain tumors. Congressional Offices may carve the pumpkins but YOU get to decide the best!
This summer, something truly heartwarming took place at Camp Sunrise and Camp Fantastic—special camps where children undergoing treatment and their families find a much-needed respite filled with sunshine, laughter, and healing.
In May, 2024, IAA honored "Go Gray in May for brain tumors" with a "Clay Bear" fundraiser. This was a huge success and allowed us to give almost 300 patients a new cuddly bear in July when they came for treatment to the Oncology floor. Â This was our first IAA Patient-Program, but won't be our last!
