Imagine An Answer (IAA) is focused on promoting research and awareness to find a cure for Juvenile Pilocytic Astrocytomas (JPA), a slow growing children's brain cancer that impacts more than 20,000 kids across the United States.
The organization was founded by J.D. and Mary Derderian, who have come to know a great deal about this awful disease caring for their son, Clay who was diagnosed with brain cancer at the age of 3.
How to help
Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors and donors we are making progress towards better outcomes and ultimately, a cure. Since 2017, we have been raising money to allow research labs to focus on this rare and underfunded disease.
Many obstacles exist in getting funding and hands-on attention for low-incidence diseases like JPAs. But we have raised over 2 million dollars to-date, and now have dedicated scientists working in two world-class pediatric hospitals.
Imagine where we can go with your help and our persistence.

PLGA Research
Further research on Pediatric Low-Grade Astrocytoma (PLGA) is desperately needed, as the treatments for children with Juvenile Pilocytic Astrocytoma (JPA) brain tumors are invasive, highly toxic, and have devastating side effects and late-term effects that diminish the child's quality of life.
IAA has supported researchers across the country to find new treatments. Your support will allow us to expand research opportunities to find a cure for this terrible cancer.
Thank you for your donation, no matter what size!
